View Full Version : NorCal Group Drive 3/20/2004 - Coast Run
TheDosDog 03-01-2004, 03:52 PM Let's all meet at Lincoln and La Playa in San Francisco at 10:30 am. We'll take Hwy 1 south to Half Moon Bay then 84 east returning along Skyline Blvd. Please vote and post a response so we'll know who is coming. Also, post ideas for places to eat. I like 3 Amigos in Half Moon Bay.
See you on the 20th,
TheDosDog 03-01-2004, 04:08 PM I took this drive myself Sunday. It's a little more placid than the Napa run but very beautiful this time of year.
murix 03-01-2004, 04:42 PM I am in again. I have made that drive myself. Very nice view.
brothervoodoo 03-01-2004, 10:45 PM Sounds great, there are nice views going south on Hwy 1. Assuming nothing unforeseen comes up (like last time), I am in!!
SDLinus 03-03-2004, 01:29 AM Sounds like a fun drive, I'm from San jose
Fleche 03-08-2004, 08:25 AM My calender is open for that day, hope to see you guys there!
pixartist 03-08-2004, 10:57 PM Would love to be there. Unfortunately, I have a portrait session in...of all places...Napa! Have fun!
rooster 03-11-2004, 09:34 AM Can't make it this time. My weekends are booked for the next 4 weeks. Hopefully one of these days, I'll be able to make it there. Sounds like it would be a real Blast.
Rooster
PS.
BrotherVoodoo check your PM's.
winebrad 03-17-2004, 09:50 PM Really wish I could make it but my son's birthday is this weekend maybe next time as I really enjoyed the first run!
Have a great time!
No Las Vegas this weekend, so we'll be there.
brothervoodoo 03-20-2004, 05:55 PM Nice meet and great driving. I enjoyed talking to all the new folks so I didn't take many pics. Others will post plenty of pics so here are just two for now.

Rx8Past 03-20-2004, 11:40 PM looks great guys, sorry I couldnt make it, I had to take my cousin around the city, it's his first time visiting the United States. Hope to make the next one though! Take care guys!
Fleche 03-21-2004, 12:02 PM Nice to see everyone there, too bad the coastal fog blocked much of the view along the coast.
A little side note, as I was driving away on 92, I must have run into the PT Cruiser Club or something as they were going to Half Moon Bay, I did a double take as 20 something PTs were lined up in a single file coming from the opposite direction.
I'll post my pics tonight.
Good times everyone !

TheDosDog 03-21-2004, 09:08 PM CGRX, That's the one. That is a real bummer. But taking a picture of yourself getting a ticket is priceless.

I'm pondering shaveing the emblems in the front and back. Looks sweet in person
MSMAMBA 03-22-2004, 01:00 PM Nice pics.
I did not make it to this run. Instead, I told my van and my family up to Mount Diablo State Park. You cannot go fast there, but you have plenty of photoshooting spots.
Also, the MS wing is well worth the money. I got it from finishlineperformance on Thursday and did the installation on Sunday. It only took me 2 hours to slowly do the work. My comment is that those Truss screws are a pain to work with and you need 2 metric size hex keys.
brothervoodoo 03-22-2004, 02:56 PM Scrounged another photo...
