I was there on last Sunday for SCCA!! How did it go? I always wanted to take my 8 out there but haven't done it...

It was a blast. Blackhawk is a good track for the RX-8. Pretty much from the Carousel to turn 6 is made for our cars! Just make sure your brakes are in good shape (bleed fluid, fresh pads) and have some decent tires (running Dunlop Durezza Star Specs). There is a mini PDX over the lunch break SCCA race in October. It's a good taste of a track event and it's dirt cheap, under $75 for a non-SCCA member. We needed more people at the last event as we came up a bit short, so spread the word.
