Where do they make them?
Are all RX-8 made in the same factory?

The reason I'm asking is that the VIN number of my Japan bought RX-8 looks totally different from the US VIN.

If they are made in the same factory they should suffer from the same problems.

Probably because the J-spec 8 is on a different assembly line (right-hand drive + other differences), but I believe they're all built at the same plant in Hiroshima.

if it had better fuel efficiency (from reports don't have mine yet) i would say they were made in heaven!
