I contacted Mazda per Herc., and their reply was,
"Dear Greg,

Thank you for contacting Mazda North American Operations. I appreciate the opportunity to respond to you.

It really sounds like your the kind of enthusiast that will appreciate the brand new Mazda RX-8! We'd love to see you in your 3rd Mazda rotary sports car!

I appreciate and understand your suggestions about the 6-CD changer and the additional color. Accessories for the RX-8 are still under development, but there will be an announcement made in March with more information.
Rest assured that Mazda does value customer feedback. I will forward your e-mail comments to our Product Planning department for their review."

I ask Mazda about Mutant Blue and they will forward to planning dept.

So if you like the "x" color, please help me out and send them the request. More Request= More chance in getting it!

Sounds like there is a chance for positive changes on some issues.
