Awhile ago, I saw an RX8 with a JDM 20B (Japanese Three rotor Twin Turbo engine). I was fairly surprised at how early on in the cars life this was done. I'm wondering if anybody has any pictures or information on this. I can only imagen how hard the swap was to do (Wiring, ECU, drivetrain, Custom brackets and so on).

Oh yeah, we got info! Do a forum search for "Acosta 20b", and you'll find 15 threads that discuss that car.

the car is pretty awesome. I got to see it at seven stock last year...they drove it all the way from the East Coast to california. The 20b actually fit very well in the bay. Big 'ole single turbo

Hopefully they will bring it to the Rotary Revolution in Indy. At last note it was for sale on ebay.

If not, Sunflower Mazda from Kansas is bringing a supercharged 8 to play with.
