This has been the nicest weekend so far on the Eastern side of Washington. I just spent the last 5 hours washing, waxing, and detailing my baby. Whew! That was nice. Hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather with me.

You should have been out driving. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaash! Get your priorities straigt. God didn't kill all the dinosaurs so we could wash our cars. He wants us out driving.

I went driving yesterday and today it was time to clean. I don't very many opportunities in the winter to wax my car and it needed a good cleaning. She was starting to look angry.

It looks like the weather this weekend is going to be looking good. Any Spokanders up for a drive and food?

There are some RX7s in Spokane if you want to invite them, RX7club.com, dont think there are all that many 8's up near you.

There are a few but I would be happy to invite the 7's. If you are on the 7 forum would you direct them over here? Thanks.

Looking to get some 8's together for a drive and food next weekend in Spokane area. I will be leaving for a mini-vacation to Vancouver, BC on the 16th so I want to get a little friendly drive in first. Just post if you are interested and have a destination in mind for both drive and food (notice the order of importance :) ). Looking forward to hearing from a few folks.

I may consider coming over from Redmond. It'd have to be at least 100mi cruise to be worth the fuel to come over the pass.

Where do you have in mind? We could always drive up to Sandpoint or Canada maybe? Or maybe we could drive around the Couer d' Alene Lake?

Haven't a clue. I live on the wrong side of the mountains.

Maybe we can do a nice drive around the lake. It has some good twisties and corners with some more open areas for a good run. It is still cool enough that in most areas the traffic should be minimal.

Sounds good. How 'bout a thread specific to the drive. That should generate more interest. That would also give me a better link to post on the RX7 forum.

P/M me when you know the date and as long as it isn't April 30th it should be ok. I will be at Apple Blossom that weekend.

Whenever you want. I will try to get a few more 8's together then. You will love the drive in your 8. I enjoyed mine to Santa Cruz over the holidays :) .

It's looking more and more like the 18th of April will be the perfect date. I'll be Staying at the Couer d' Alene resort. Since you know the area best, I'll let you figure the where and exact when (time that day). But I'll go ahead and set the date of Sunday 4-18 for the drive. Also if Sunday is conflicting with anything let me know and we can Change to sat 4-17. But other that I say lets go for a FUN drive on Sunday 4-18. And bring whoever you want!!!!!

Sunday works for me. Anyone else in the Spokane area want to join in. I'm looking forward to it. I figure we can drive around the Northside of the lake and maybe eat at Wolf's Lodge (Steak and grilled) or maybe we can eat at Macaroni's (Italian) or something in town there.

I figure an earlier drive say noon to like 2 and a late lunch. How does that sound? If we head East on the I-90 there is a road that cuts down the North side of the lake across from Wolf Lodge. We can follow it down around the lake. I have only been down this road for about 15 min. and it looks like it would be fun with some good twisties.

We are now about 2 weeks away so I was just wanting to do a head count and to get this thing organized. There are some local 7's who would like to come along so this group could get larger... The more the merrier I say. Keep me posted.

Sorry to hear it. I hope it's nothing too serious. I was looking forward to getting to meet you. Oh by the way if you wouldn't mind send me a P/M my wife and I want to get our windows tinted before too long. I have the RX-8 of course and she drives a 99 Audi A4. Let me know about pricing.
