Owww, my eyes hurt. I didn't think my eyes were that bad....maybe I need glasses because I am seeing blurry and there's a park bench on the back of that 8...or is that a photo of a stealth fighter and I can't tell because it's so blurry?

I think the wing on the back gives it away as the stealth fighter.

Hey, Nav: Isn't the straight-up Sport package great!

I'll be getting the accents this upcoming month. Not planning on getting the clear corners, though.

Will also get the MP3 player and the strakes before Summer.

Straight up sport package RX8 was all I needed/wanted.....I love it!!! The cloth seats are awesome, the headroom is a non-issue without the sunroof...less weight....it's all good....oh, and it's cheaper too. HAHAH

i dont have a RX-8 yet but im looking at the possibilities of trading in my MP3 for one...

White is not available in the States currently. It's reasonable to expect a white color in future year models. Do a search -- I'm sure someone has talked about it.

For me, personally, I really love the black color because (among other things) it doesn't contrast with the wheel wells around the tires... the car looks closer/lower around the wheels & tires.

I also like how the rear lower bumper (the part that's molded in black) blends in with the body color and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Here you go. Definitely need tint in Texas. Got mine at custom sounds on Burnet for $180. Front's are 30's, back window is 15.

Damn...you know I've really been starting to question my choice of color...Tit Gray here, but that black just looks so GODDAMN sharp...especially with the strakes. The strakes/accents just kind of blend in with the gray/silver...black, it stands out and looks great. Also, I'm a fan of just plain stock '8s, but the MS kit on the black looks absolutely fantastic! I really have to stop looking at all these pics...should have gone black =(

About an inch in the front (no more) and about 1.25 in the rear. Tanabe stated it would lower more in the front which is why I went with them but it didn't. I also had to roll the rear fenders b/c my offsets are 35 in the back (40 front)
I'll be replacing springs with coilovers just b/c I hate the gap in the front. I was thinking Tein Basic but I haven't seen anything positive written about them other than the price.

What wheels are on EZZY's 8? I think I just fell in love again! :D

Just wanted to post a few of my 8. My girlfriend was at a photo shoot and the photographer decided he wanted the 8 in the pics! I have not done a whole lot to the exterior yet though, just rx8 center caps and valve stem covers, rotor front and rear, red brake calipers, fender strakes and clear corners. I am saving up for the turbo so exterior is on hold but rims will be in the future I know!
if anyone wants a great photographer and near NC, let me know and I will send over his info.

On another note, I think we may have a black that can give Cortc some competition (It's not mine)...what do you guys think?

The previous posted RX-8 has the vertex lang body kit. Dunno the rims....

Cortc has the Mazdaspeed body kit with HRE 545's. All I can say is... wow. Cortc has lots of money :(

To give you a ballpark estimate, (roughly rounded estimates) the Mazdaspeed front bumper is about 1000, side skirts 700, rear bumper 1000, and rear spoiler 1000. Cortc's rims... hahaha... don't even wanna talk about those.

The rims are 18s, they just look taller. That style only comes in 18s. :)

Just wanted to post a few of my 8. My girlfriend was at a photo shoot and the photographer decided he wanted the 8 in the pics! I have not done a whole lot to the exterior yet though, just rx8 center caps and valve stem covers, rotor front and rear, red brake calipers, fender strakes and clear corners. I am saving up for the turbo so exterior is on hold but rims will be in the future I know!
if anyone wants a great photographer and near NC, let me know and I will send over his info.

Where did you get those red brake calipers? They look sweet.

Oh, they are the stock ones. I just painted them red with brake caliper paint from the auto store. Just make sure you clean the brakes well, i used a little wire brush on the dremel beforehand and then blew them off with the air compressor. then painted them. Thanks for the compliments. ***note to everyone- don't let tire/rim cleaner on your painted brake calipers, i did and it dulled mine out, they don't shine anymore, got to paint them again! :(

I bought the Mother's claybar kit. Got it from Pepboys. I didn't feel like shelling out the $100+ for the Zaino kit, even though the results look so nice on other forum members' rides. The Mother's kit was only $17 and comes with a claybar, detailing spray, and wax. Looks like it can do about two RX-8's. Just need to get some clear corners now and I'm set.

great car swedish! nice idea to combine the MS front with the mazda side flares. I thought of that too, but I was afraid it'd be more pumped up in the front than the side... amazing rims too. I like the dual spokes with the lip the PIAA has.

Critters I always had a question about European cars that have a square piece right under the head lights. I see it on your 8 in the picture. What is that for?

It pops out ever 5th time you wash the windows and they spray the headlights... kinda strange as you drive along and all the light in front of you looks like its underwater for a second : ) keeps them clean tho.

So is that considered an European luxury or standard feature? Or is it a lot of bugs and debris out that the US don't have?

Pass, I don't think we have any more bugs than you. Maybe it's cos some higher end cars have light washers, so Mazda stuck them on so it looks better on paper... either way, I like gadgets and I'm counting this as one. Tho I think the money would have been better spent by Mazda on a rear parking sensor or rear coat hooks :)

Nope, those are actually chrome "Deer Alert" whistles.

The roads in Southern OH and WV are infested with Bambies and I found some of these things that really work a few years ago, so I purchased a set in bright chrome.

Black was my first choice, but I actually came really close to picking up a new 04 Lightning Yellow with the same equipment. But, problem was, the dealer that had it was out in the desert- about 100 miles east of LA. And, it was raining like crazy around the time. I needed to get someone to drive all the way out there with me, so I decided to wait out the rain. When the weather finally cleared and I called them- just a week and a half later- they'd already sold it. So, I guess black was the color meant to be- which I had to special order btw... :P

Well worth the wait.
So distinctive that the Sales guy that I worked with pulled over and waited for me to come out of 7-11 just to pay compliments on my "one of a kind" 8, saying that he knew that it was me because of the color & options.
He also noted that even though I stripped the dealer badge from it, he identified the car.
I recanted that I always do that, but if anybody wants to know where it was purchased and who to see, that props are in order.

I have all gold accents on my 8 and I thought this may be cool to try. Since I understood very little print in those links you provided, do you know of any english sites or any other vendors in the US that would sell those kits?

There seems to be a shop that exports to North America. It inquires of the trader now.

That is unbeleivably hot. It will get over here eventually, but it would be nice to be one of the first. :). Gold would look great Tigerlee.
