(did a Clear bra at the same time) I have been very pleased with the results and would go back without question. I'd post a link but looks like their website is currently down. Hopefully they are still there. pdxhak 02-01-2011, 07:36 AM Another vote for Apex Restoration in Beaverton. Ask for John and tell him David from 8club sent you :) I'm not sure if they changed their name or the old site is down but this works. http://www.apexautospa.com/ Mvincent 02-01-2011, 01:53 PM awesome, thanks for the help guys! :) L8tr 02-01-2011, 06:31 PM Alexia's Auto Tint in Beaverton One of the very best places for tint! I took my 8 to them from Vancouver, they've always been highly recommended by several people I know. dondo 02-01-2011, 07:35 PM get non metallic tint if you want to use a radar detector. you can also tint windshields now with an 85% material that blocks most of the UV rays and heat. I just got the 8 done and you don't even notice it's there. it'll be nice in summer too! pdxhak 02-01-2011, 07:39 PM ^great idea doing the windshield. Sams40 02-02-2011, 01:08 AM If you're willing to pay a bit more Accutint does really good work too. But I hear they're on the pricier side. The RCW (46.37.430) still says tint only on the top 6" of the windshield, UV blocking film is okay on the whole windshield if it's clear (no percentage mentioned). dondo 02-02-2011, 08:07 PM Nice, when did this change? Urban dictionary: 10. Baller Badass person. Doesnt give a shit what people say. Speaks their mind. "Mike is such a baller." dondo 02-02-2011, 11:22 PM heelllll yeah LCheung 02-03-2011, 02:04 AM This thread is too hilarious. Metallic tints don't really interfere with radar detectors that have no rear antenna. With that said, there are ceramic tints that you can get which have the same heat rejection performance as metallic without the antenna interference to radar detectors or GPS.
