... field mice. Damm!!

Had my car out the past week in the carport. Did oil change two days ago - no problems then I moved it out today to go to work and a field mouse ran out.

Checked under the hood and it's been eating the insulation (non-electrical) on the inner fenders.

Guess I'll bait it and put moth balls over the hood and in the trunk.

Damm !!!! John

You better not let Klegg find out you're trying to duplicate his mods with mice!!!

Incidently, you can hide some cats in the engine compartment to fend off the mice.. You can fit 14 and a half 7 lb cats in there....

On a more serious note.. I am guessing that failure due to "mice nibbles" is not covered by warranty.. but what about insurance?

Wasn't klegg complaining about a drop in HP?

Damage is very light - just the surface of the insulation - will just 'paint' with gray spray paint

And of course - kill the mice !!!

Guy321,

Sorry to hear about the accident. At least it was a BMW who is insured and some POS that barely runs, driven by an uninsured/unlicensed motorist who was half drunk. Those ruin my day.

RX8_GT,

Sorry to hear about the insulation. Klegg discovered that if you put them in cages it saves the undercarriage of the car. Adding cats was a bit to dangerous with field rats too. The horsepower dropped significantly as the rats began to disappear. With the Africanized strain however he had more success but the cats needed to be replaced pretty regularly as the rats were beginning to kick the snot out of the cats.

Here you go.. I used to have a rat and mouse problem... now they're scared to death to get near... Best trap around, you'll whipe them out in no time.
