Hey I just turned on speed they are working in the 8 now if anyones intrested.

well some info so far they are talking adding intake and Nos and uping the wheels. thats about it so far. also i'm in NC so it may be on later if your on the west coast or on again tonight.

Ok anyone that missed it heres basicly what they did, Added X-drilled roters, steel braided brake lines. A NX wet nos kit with ingetion between MAF and throttle body i belive. The base dyno was 173hp/130ft lb w/o nos and with nos was 206hp /209ft lb. Also they had planed to do a 14x16 sub box for 2 subs in the trunk. but it would not fit along with the bottle for the NX kit. the NX purge kit and switches were installind in the ashtray. Failing to find a bodykit(don't know why) they applied a decal down the side. they really only addied brakes an NX wet kit a decal down the side, and some new silver 19" 10 spoke wheels. The guy seemed happy about it the decals were ok not the best looking but byfar not the worst i have seen. Well 30 min and mostly comercials, nothing great other than someone installing a NX kit and some shots of an 8 on a tv show hopefully there will be more, soon.

it looked ok, the stripes killed the car badly, but it was ok.

I was talking to a Rotary Performance Shop mechanic about this just a few minutes ago. He told me that the dyno was on a 2-wheeler, which we both thought was odd. They never showed the computer screen, did they? Sounds like imaginary output to me. The 2 wheeler, would have put it in limp mode.

yeah, that kinda escaped me... 212rwhp, but with 209 lbft of peak torque??? you have to know that's a bullshit number.

I was disappointed with the show and the car when they were finished. I am eager for any tuning information on the car but this show sucked. The name of the show should have been "Okay, here is your near stock RX8. We added Nitrous, some speakers, decals with air bubbles in them, and a $500 set of rims. I hope your happy!"
