If you check my profile you can work it out. Some of us have entered our full birth date including year, others just the day an month.

Anyway - 36 for me.

In that case, you're never going to live life to the max.
Money's there to be spent.
Enjoy it while it lasts and while you can. :)

hehe nojooc what i mean is that no point buying a car outright when all that money can be invested to make more, and you can settle to have finance with little repayments a month.

thats all.

and believe me i live life

P.S if your worrying about interest, its a tax deduction.

Confucius say : "Spend all your money quick as you can, otherwise it burn hole in your pocket!"

Nah, never really said that, but I guess that's how I live life.
Work ass off to earn max G's so I can surround myself with toys! :)

I wonder how many more are born is September. I am 39.

I do not own the vehicle the bank does. My accountant has advised me to keep a logbook as he said in his words...I will get a s**t load back in tax.

This allows me to free up my funds to develop more properties and make more $$$.

I wouldn't mind owning one, but for now, the bank does.
Not everybody likes a Red P plater on an RX8 these days.

So I can visit my investments which are paying for the car.

MX5.........24y.o
S7 RX7.....28yo
RX8..........33yo

Ageo

you could still have your investments pay the repayments on your vehicle. Thats a obviously smarter way to do it.

if your in business and can justify the car for business use,

you get gst back,

interest claim,

and depreciation of the cost price at 30% oer annum

if you work it out, you aren't actuallty substantially out of pocket and you can use your surplus cash funds for a useful purpose such as investing or paying off debt that you can't claim..such as a home mortgage

anyway, in my case i can pay extra tax or alternatively drive my red rx and have fun...hard choice!

daily visits of investment properties is a my car deduction. And also being on emergency calls is aslo a vehicle tax deduction.

Hear, hear, me too, but unfortunately this year is the 24th anniversary of that event :p

I lease my car (or rather my company does). I used to pay cash, too, but then kids came along, followed by school fees… money has to speak different languages at different stages of your life :o

Thank god, you're way too young for a midlife crisis. After all why have a vibrating dinasour whi make up on it's lack of speed by an over abundance in sound.

thankfully I've found the cocktial of youth

Great to see a broad spread of age groups across the proud 8 owners.
Just curious who is the oldest (but young at heart) owner present? :)

Proof that at 57 some parts of me are still alive...

Competing at an Autokhana day, mostly against MX5s, but also a sprinkling of others. Included were a Cobra replica (looked and sounded great but appalling handling) a Suburu WRX (fast but ordinary looking) a Porsche (oddly ignored by everybody), an earlier model MR2 (looked good, and pretty quick) and a Lotus Elise (fantastic handling - beat everybody).

I used to be one. Moved on to other things. I hated it when they brought in that Caps standard. MAKES THINGS TOO HARD TO READ DOESN'T IT?

Cheers,
Hymee.

A good friend of mine is 64 y.o. He wrecked my race car driving it into the wall @ 180kph. He co-owns to race horses with me, and has others on his own. Drinks like a fish, I can't keep up with him. Is a fanatic runner, and loves the ladies.

I'm 34!

BVD you've got many years of youth to go. :)

In the business i run there is a lady thats 72 that "water ski's!" i cant get over it but it just goes to show that age is just a number, i deal with people which some are at the age of 40 who are ready to give up in life (i feel like giving them a rope to put themselves out of their misery).
