Mazda will have All Weather Mats available for the RX-8, but the release date is still to be determined. As we get closer to the release of the vehicle, we would have a better idea when the part will be available at the Mazda dealerships for your purchase.

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) should be released to the customer approximately 2-3 months after the order has been accepted by
Mazda from the dealership. You can expect to receive your VIN via e-mail.

hey herc i seemed to have missed this post before. excellent q's and A's!

I have been emailing them a few questions any time I have some :) It's good to keep on top of it for me, and Mazda is being very good with their response times (usually a day or two max).

could you ask them where our confirmation emails are since you seem to have a rapport going?

The response I received from Mazda last week:
Thank you for contacting Mazda North American Operations. I appreciate the opportunity to respond to you.

Within 30 days of your order being submitted, you should receive an e-mail indicating that your Mazda dealership submitted your request to the factory. After this e-mail, there should be series of other e-mails to keep you updated with the status of your order.
