well about an hour ago i met a guy driving an rx-8 in beaverton. i had just come from getting a tire repaired and he had just come from picking his car up at the dealership. it had been in for service. his car had a CEL that it took a week to diagnose. turns out it was something to do with the cat.

the good part is he has been on here before, and said he would check in and let us know what the code was.

the bad part is i forgot to ask his name! sorry about that.

This last week, I too had a P0420 code. But it was figured out within a couple minutes. They reflashed my ecu, and I was on my way. You might want to find anouther service station, unless they where replacing parts or something. CJ
