Owing an RX-8 is owning a piece of a tradition of innovation and great risks on the part of the automakers that went another way with the rotary. That may sound saccarine, but it's true and I hope that the new members of the rotary community get to know the history behind their new rides. Also, www.roadandtrack.com has a fascinating article about Mazda's first sports car, the Cosmo Sport. Do a search for the article, it's worth it.
