I have a double din in my truck (I think) and the measurements of 4" x 71/2" for it fit nicely in the "8". But you would have to take out the top row of buttons to get it to fit. That would include the display and clock buttons. Not sure where those would go with this. but I do like the color! :)

For anyone following the car pc thread... this is what I had in mind. Although I wonder if space is really such a problem that you'd have to lose the clock/climate LCD...

Looks like it may be a JDM model... as are the other A/V options mentioned on the kenwood usa site.

I wonder how many people are interesting in something like this... including the people that bought the factory GPS unit... if for the same $2k they could get a system with GPS, radio, DVD, and 20-40gig drive for MP3, a CD ripper, wifi, RCA out and in...
