Have any Canadians gotten any gifts from Mazda like the preorder americans?

I ordered early June, delivery mid December. All I got was a welcome to Mazdatown folder with the customer satisfaction survey and a 3"x6" grippy, rubbery pad to stick on the dash to keep coins, cellphones... from sliding around.

Anyone else get this or anything else?

I have the same thing, but I didn't pre-order mine. Come to think about it, they didn't tell me about the slightly lower HP numbers when I bought it from Halifax, over the phone back in september! Oh well...

The only thing I got was their X-Box promotion for anyone who purchased any Mazda in December. I got mine December 28th. Of course I needed to harass the dealership until last week to actually get it....

I got an RX-8 travel mug and an RX-8 baseball cap and the other things mentioned above. I know the manager at the dealer though!

I just got my customer service survey today, and included in that was a non-slip foam pad. What do you do with that you ask? Well, if you don't have a NAV system, you can place it right up front in the center, and put stuff on it like your cell phone, transponder, garage door opening.... and it just grips on magically.

It's got the mazda log on it... it's soo cheap, but damn, i must say, it is the greatest invention ever. there's no ahesive so it wont leave anything sticky behind. Anyone else get this, or know what i'm talking about?

I already got an xbox from my dealer, so everything else after that is just gravy :)

I got the xbox, the non-slip pad and asked them to throw in an rx8 hat that was in their display case, which they did.

where did you guys put the non slip pad?? The objects I put ON the pad doesn't slip but the pad itself slides on the dash!

Wash the non-slip pad as instructed and make sure there is no dust on the dash. Should work.

I just got my survey yesterday (with the pad.)

Just the 'grippy pad'.

The $-store sells a sheet of this stuff, ten times as big , for 1$!

Some people are easily impressed.......

I got the welcome kit with the cheap sticky thing. The dealer also gave me a poster of the RX-8 (the car in the poster does not look exactly like the actual rx-8, the turn signals are part of the side mirrors.) I also received a cheap-o rx-8 tote bag when I sent mazda canada a letter. I also received a second dashboard-sticky-thing when I had to clarify some stuff that wasn't addressed in a second letter to them.

Long story short, I don't feel mazda values the type of money that we spent on this car.

Since some of you are saying Mazda are cheap.

So the car you got w/all the features for good value wasn't enough?

So my question to you is this, what is enough?

Mazda Canada are a bunch of cheap bastards, and it is
Mazda U.K.,
Mazda USA,
Mazda Japan,
Aussy Mazda,
Trinidad & Tobago Mazda
etc, that makes them look bad.

Pens, various RX-8 models, Rotor shaped keys, wallets, hats, the excellent Yamaguchi book, Renesis see-thru models, tires-for-life, touch-up paint.......don't get me started.

I put a deposit down and waited 16 months for delivery, THEN the dealer tried to screw me for a couple of grand over list.......

Don't get me started.

Not to start anything, but I think it was the dealer who screwed you not Mazda Canada.
If I had a pre-order I'd be letting Mazda Canada know that I didn't receive anything. Plus you should have gotten your $500 if you pre-ordered as well.
