GA Esmeril Racing Turbo Kit + More

Category: Engine - Power Adders
Price: $3900
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Others, Series I
Location (US State/Canada/Int): GA
Item Condition: Used

I am selling my Esmeril Turbo Kit with the Interceptor-X EMS. Everything is included except for the upgraded Fuel Pump. Some odd reason that was left on and I dont have the tool to get it off and the closest place that has one is over an hour a way so I will work with you on the price. The turbo melted my oil metering pump & sensor and intake valve actuator costing $1600 to replace both of those so I yanked the kit out. My budget as of now isnt fit to maintain the kit so I decided to sell it. This kit was bought in mid 2009. And has around 200 miles on it. I will be selling my Esmeril Ignition upgrade and gauges later once I have time to take them out. Pictures of the gauges are on my profile's gallery page. I paid close to $6000 for this kit without the EMS which I paid seperately for from a user here on rx8club ($800). If you want to purchase the kit without the EMS you can do so and I will just sell it later seperately.

Installation Guide for the kit is Included!

Turbo Kit $SOLD (Not including shipping, depends where buyer is located).

Also I have for sale a Greddy Catch Can $50 (shipping included).

And Esmeril Racing's Battery Relocation Mount Kit $100 (shipping included).

JUST ADDED: Carbontrix Carbon Fiber A-Pillar Gauge Pod $150.
Real Carbon Fiber, made specifically for the RX-8 by Carbontrix, features Driver side and Passenger side to match! The driver side one has a little crack in bottom, however it does not pose a problem and is not visible once installed (shown in 2nd picture).

Any questions drop me a PM.

I am located in southeast, Georgia.

Thanks.

I've read a lot of good stuff about Emersil. Wish I had the money but good luck with the sale.

that seems like a design flaw, or some heat shielding was missing....

My OMP burned out as well, any Top Mount Turbo will overheat the OMP and lines surrounding it. It is just a matter of when.

Best to do heat wrap like crazy and using shielding on the OMP itself.

By the way I know Team has a few parts hanging around you should ask him or anyone else parting out a car I am sure you can get an OMP at a great price.

Not visually burned at least not mine, car went into a safe mode and would not rev past 4-5k and go faster than 10mph.

Hmmm... Maybe i should look into some kind of heat shield. Already have it heat wraped but it would be a good form of preventative maintnance.

Look. Free bump lol

I have the same problem now. I fixed it and it came back. I bought a OMP from Team and put it in the car still the same thing. I have to try the re-set fix again like the first time i guess. For now the car is sitting in my drive way and I'm still trying to figure out how to fix it.
