Any out there install the Mazda night lights? Hard or simple ? Worth it? Any info would be hlpful. John

I assume you are talking about the footwell lights. I installed them and like the a lot. They are not really necessary but they look cool and they do help. It's an easy install

That's the ones. The stock lighting is not very good IMHO. Probably will go with this upgrade. Thanks John

does it stay on all the time or only when you open the door?

The install took about 1 hour. And yes, that make a fairly big difference. I would definately install them again. They turn on when the door is open or when you take the key out (i think?). They will then FADE to OFF.

I took things a step further and replaced all my interior bulbs with RED- LEDS (including the map lights!) It gives the car a cool 'theater' effect. Total cost $20. And yes, you can still read by the map lights but is more difficult.

The LEDS came from autolumination.com - a company in Gilbert, Arizona.
