I put red turn signal bulbs in back because I've got tons of tickets having hyper white turn signals in the rear

Am I missing something?.......you had HID headlights....and you replaced them with $23 hyperwhites????

I assume you have HID's because your sig says GT.

or it could be something I'm misreading.....wouldnt be the first time;)

i got a ticket for that as well...it gives them a reason to pull you over AS WELL as search for other things they can give you tickets on...i suggest keeping them red as well...i was lucky that the policeman didn't bother writing me up for front license plate, the mini samurai blade hanging from my rearview (obstruction of view), and not wearing a safety belt (i was very close to my destination and had just taken them off)

too bad though because i love that hyper white look

How do you not get HID's with the GT package?

Figured the GT was the 6-speed with the brakes and handling package? I didn't know HID's were apart of the GT. Can someone confirm this? Andy, chhsssst.

Help! I tried and tried, but could NOT get the ECU cover off. After snapping one of the tabs holding it down, I still could not remove the little wire tie thing attached to the bottom (closer to the front) of the ECU cover... help? How do I remove that?

And even if I do remove the ECU cover, it seems like a tight squeeze to get and put back the bulb... any other approaches?

(I'm currently one side blue/white, other side yellow... kind of ugly...)

use a needle nose to remove that little wire
you can push it out from underneath

Bump

So, are these reverse lights brighter? The stock reverse lights are terrible in the Pacific Northwest - always foggy and drizzly outside - I can't see a dam thing some mornings backing out my driveway. What do you recommend for the brightest reverse bulbs I can get?

Thanks

Damn this thread was posted a long time ago! The hyper white reverse lights were really bright. Much more than stock. I got rid of the hypers cause I didn't like the blue bulb in the tail-light housing. They look cool when lit tho.

If you get the stealth bulbs, you can have your cake and eat it too ;)

Thanks! So stealth hyperwhites? Do you have a part number or where to get them?
