It adds just a little more (but not too much) to the look of it. laser88 02-03-2004, 05:50 PM Go for it. It will make it stand out. It did for mine. Also, plan on getting the spoiler some time later. It will make it look sophisticated! NAVILESRX8 02-03-2004, 06:54 PM They look so good they should be standard.... SCiMMiA 02-03-2004, 07:10 PM You'll love 'em. rx8gator 02-03-2004, 07:28 PM They came on my car from the dealer. They look better than stock for sure. Triangul-8 02-03-2004, 07:40 PM Go for it! I have ours ordered with both front and rear on an AT-Titanium. Sets off the rear for sure! Hope it comes in soon, anniversary present for my wife, who knows nothing about it. He He. Baller 02-03-2004, 07:42 PM I vote front only...back end too busy!!! Kryton 02-03-2004, 08:00 PM Wish they made the exhaust in rotary shape. Tacky but fun 93rdcurrent 02-03-2004, 08:04 PM I voted front and rear but get them on e-bay and save the money. MEGAREDS 02-03-2004, 08:31 PM Too expensive for what it is... I wouldn't pay it (although I caved on the strakes). Somebody on this forum is planning on making plastic strakes... rotary accents can't be far behind. RX-GR8 02-03-2004, 11:25 PM got em for Christmas and its been too cold and 8 is too dirty to install them. cant wait. MEGAREDS 02-03-2004, 11:58 PM Originally posted by RX-GR8 got em for Christmas and its been too cold and 8 is too dirty to install them. cant wait. I installed my strakes on Christmas day... freak day - really quite warm and one of our dinner guests didn't show up for dinner, so I had a few hours to kill. Worked out beautifully all around. If you happen to have a digi-camera, please do a DIY on the install, RX-GR8. I'm sure it's a piece of cake, but it is always interesting to see what it takes in advance of buying the hardware. XeRo 02-04-2004, 01:14 PM I've debated the same question...although I have Sunlight Silver and the front would be a waste of $$ since it's already pretty much the same color already... I think I'm going to testor's paint the rear one as described in a post elsewhere...or purchase it...depends on when the wild hair strikes... |
