We are seeking RX8 owners; single males 25-35 years
old, in the Los Angeles area to participate in a paid
market research study on their RX8.

Participants will receive $350 for an online research
session and one on one interview.

Per market research code of ethics, anyone working in
the Automotive industry is not eligible to
participate.

Moving Target Research is a nationwide company that
recruits and interviews participants for paid market

Hey dude, put me in touch. For $350 I can take a sick day from work and drive a couple hours each way...

I just got off the phone with Valerie.

It has to be in the Los Angeles area. She needs to physically see your car to verify you own an RX-8. She's coming by my place this evening. Once that's done there is an online survey (2 hours) followed by an interview at your home (2 1/2 hours), which is to happen sometime next week. They need to verify you live alone.

keep us posted on what happens

Valerie came by for all of three seconds. She saw my car and gave me a business card of the firm that will be calling me tomorrow.

Okay, here's the deal:

I've got to complete some online questionnaire this Monday. I'll also be getting some "workbook" to complete. On Thursday, I'm meeting with the group for the in-person interview at my home. Kinda weird, though, they are going to film the interview. :eek:

They also asked if I'd be interested in test driving other cars from "another car maker" and pay me for it. I said, "Sure, why not." They'll be getting back to me on this. :cool:

The way this is working out, my exhaust is going to be paid for by other people. :D

Well, she was kinda sexy. Mind you, she was a MILF, but sexy nonetheless. ;)

BTW, I heard from the other marketing group. I'm supposed to start "test driving" the other cars on 2/17. I'm going to drive for 2 or 3 days a couple of different cars. I'll have each for those days. So far, the lady could only tell me BMW, Audi and Infiniti. She said there might be a couple more. After that is done, there's a final "meeting" on 2/29. At that event I'll receive my $400. :D

So the RX-8 survey will get me $350 and the other market research will get me $400. Not a bad month of February for me. Yep, it looks like my exhaust is paid for already. :cool:

Well, just had the "interview." Pretty cool. We talked about cars, living in L.A., what "brands" I like, etc. Got paid ca$h for my time. :cool:

Next week I start the "car swapping" survey. Audi, Infiniti, BMW… That should be cool. New car every three days.

Yeah but I don't mind. I won't be paying for gas and I won't be putting miles on my car. Hell, I'd probably do this driving survey for free if they met me at my home to exchange the cars.

On no. We are driving the cars supplied by the research group. The cars of the participants (I think only 10) are garaged and "insured."

I found out the cars we're driving:

Infiniti G35 coupe
BMW 330ci
Audi TT
Chrysler Crossfire
Mazda RX-8

I'll have each for a couple of days. All are going to be automatics. BTW, when I "drive" the 8 in the survey, it won't me mine.

This Tuesday (2/17) I'll be taking my first car.

Man, I hope I get the G35 coupe during the weekend.
