You know the slot in the sun visor for cards and the like? My parking card somehow got jammed in too far so that it's not even visible anymore- needless to say I cant get it out and I need it in the morning to get into the parking garage at school. Any ideas?

Skip school. You said you already got in to med school anyway.

What was it meant for?

I had the same problem. If you take the sun visor out of the car (only 2 screws and 1 wiring harness) you can pry the slot open wide enough to slip some needle nose pliers in there and grab the card. It took me about 30 minutes of messing around with it but I finally got my card and insurance out of there.

some suspect it's used to pop the glass out...i used to stick my insurance card in there thinking it was designed for that until people began reporting losing cards in there and having problems taking them out...so i stoped in fear of getting pulled over and having to give the cop the excuse that i lost my insurance card in my sun visor!

I got it out easily by putting double sided tape on the end of a credit card, jamming it in there and pulling it out real fast.

Hmmm, wonder how deep it is. Hafta check that.
