Just wanted to know if anyone knows what happens with the Maszport cooling fan mod if the supplied sensor that T's into the cooling hose goes bad?

Will this keep your fans from coming on? Or will it just not come on at the lower temp? The reason I ask is recently I have had to do a ton of city driving and idling, just want to make sure if something goes haywire with the sensor I wont overheat.

Thanks

since the company that makes it no longer exists (cough) and anyone who had anything to do with making that device only reads these boards but doesn't post... i think you're going to end up with only "it should, i belive, probably" replies.

Might get lucky and have someone stumble across this thread who had it happen to them.

I have had my mazsport cooling fan mod for a few yrs now and no problems. I think if the sensor ever went bad the fans would kick at the normal oem temps. The relays are almost the same except the mazsport ones are connected and wired to the sensor. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I was thinking the exact same thing. My thought was since they are identical relays they would just kick on at the normal temps.. Just wanted some type of confirmation...

Thanks for the posts so far!

Not really sure what would happen. Thinking it would just go back to original temp.
Mines been fine for years as well.
Oh, and I kept the other relays just in case.
