My favourite is:
2nd Place: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking"
Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker.
Speed-ER doc 02-01-2004, 12:58 PM I would have liked to see the details on this one:
"Thermodynamics Of Hell Fire" - Tom Williamson (grade 12)
93rdcurrent 02-01-2004, 01:30 PM I don't know... I think that the highschool 1st place winner gets my vote. Uh... hehe... I got an idea let's see if prayer can get bacteria and virus cultures to spread. If we can just ask good to make them resistant to medication in only the bad people... maybe we can make heaven on earth. Yeah let's ask him to make the medication not work on AIDS. Then we can get rid of all the gays, drug addicts, and adulterers at once.
I do think that Lock and Load might find the study on Pokemon and evolution to be interesting though. I guess his Pikachu car was an act of GOD after all.... HEHEHE.
wakeech 02-01-2004, 01:33 PM ...oh...my...man... ;)
that page wants to make my head explode... how the hell can you actually get REAL academic doctorates in "Divinity and Theobiology"????
wow.... just, wow.
wakeech 02-01-2004, 01:37 PM ...and just for kicks, i wanna see the project:
"Pokemon Proves 'Evolutionism' is False"

Then you get an even bigger pool of students to sleep with, while getting your PhD.

wakeech 02-01-2004, 01:48 PM hey!! that's a pretty good deal!!
i'll have to see if i can find a place that offers the same promotion next July 1st ;)
Doctorr 02-01-2004, 02:33 PM You mean my Theobiology degree is WORTHLESS? Say it's not so.....guess I'll have to change my username.
See you in Hell,

Squidward 02-01-2004, 08:54 PM guys, it's not "evolution" anymore.. it's "biological changes over time"
93rdcurrent 02-01-2004, 10:59 PM I guess it takes more than a doctorate to figure that out.
Blue87Sport 02-02-2004, 12:37 AM Speaking of thermodynamics of hell, it has been proven that hell is isothermal.
Because if there were temperature differences, some engineer (there must be some of those in hell with all the lawyers) would have built an air conditioning system to cool himself off. QED.
eccles 02-02-2004, 01:18 AM This is also the first year that Muslim students from the Al-Jannah Islamic school have been invited to participate; two of their students presented a project on human anatomy entitled "Allah (SWT) Created Me" which, while it was found ineligible for a prize due to a number of Biblical inconsistencies, did win a special Interfaith Outreach ribbon.ROFL. "You can enter our fair, but your projects are ineligible because they follow your heathen Islamic teachings, not our Holy Bible. But here's a ribbon so we can feel warm and fuzzy about inviting you along."
Jeff_pap31s 02-02-2004, 02:23 AM LOL
Elara 02-02-2004, 08:12 AM That is perhaps the most offensive thing I have seen in a long time...ugh.

so his project proved that the bacyeria evolved over successive generations? how does that help the creation science case? or maybe he just proved that his prayers work.
i want to see these ones:
"Dinosaur & Man Walked Together" - Donny Findlay (grade 6)
"Rocks Can't Evolve, Where Did They Come From Mr. Darwin?" - Anna Reed (grade 6)
i wonder what answer she got from Mr. Darwin?
that one girl proved her uncle was not a monkey because he refused to eat the banana. what if the monkey wouldn't eat it? what would it be then?
and then this kid:
The number of Rodentia used (58) was calculated using available Creation Science research and was based on the median animal size and their volumetric distribution in the Ark. The cage was also fitted with wooden dowels inserted at regular intervals through the cage walls, forming platforms which provided support for the Rodentia. Although there was little room left in the cage, all Rodentia were able to move just enough to ward off muscle atrophy. Food pellets and water were delivered to sub-surface Rodentia via plastic drinking straws inserted into the Rodentia-mass, which also served to allow internal air flow. Once a day, the cage was sprayed with water to cleanse any built-up waste. Additionally, the cage was suspended on bungee cords to simulate the rocking motion of a ship. The study lasted 30 days and 30 nights, with all Rodentia surviving at least long enough afterwards to allow for reproduction.
proved that he could abuse hamsters and gerbils for a month and still keep them from dieing long enough to get a good grade. nice, give him a pat on the back. he's probably moved on to torturing kittens and puppies by now. you know, just to prove they could have survived on the Ark, if noah had access to plastic straws and bungee cords.
wakeech 02-02-2004, 01:42 PM WWJD, yo??
Elara 02-06-2004, 04:05 PM I read carefully through this entire site the other day, and I swear it must be made up. One of the guys "running" it bears a striking resemblance to The Rock. I can't imagine anyone would be this ignorant...
zoom44 02-06-2004, 04:08 PM oh you poor thing! sorry you had to go thru that.
p.s.- what's with your Rock fixation? i swear you and my wife.....
Elara 02-06-2004, 04:11 PM Hey, he's hot- what can I say! I got my husband tickets to a WWE match a few years back, and we were in the 10th row...got quite a view...MmMMmMmmmm..
Speed-ER doc 02-06-2004, 04:36 PM It almost looks like a clever parody of Christian extremists, but I think it is serious.
93rdcurrent 02-06-2004, 04:41 PM Unfortunately I have to agree, I think they are serious too. I have had the misfortune of running into similiar folks. They take themselves very seriously, No sense of humor at all ;) .
