i've only seen one red rx8, driving down okeechobe last friday, but I've seen about 200 911s, GT-2's, ferrari's and bentleys/rolls royces.

And another one right here! Jupiter area in WPB. Mine is just a week old yesterday. I very rarely see any other 8's out there - best part of having one if you ask me!

C'mon WPB! Are we that lame! Let's show the SE forum that we have a strong presence. I see more and more 8's out there, so let's go. Make this thread move up on the chart!!

hehe. we should all hook up one night and head downtown. we get there kinda early and we can all park right on clematis. that would be one hell of a sight. :D

Hey you guys - does Palm Beach Gardens count? lol Got my yellow RX-8 end of December. Only have seen 1 gray one up this way. I remember when I got my Lexus 3 years ago that's all I ever saw - feels good to be a one and only. I'm up for a meet sometime.

Hey the Ti was probably me Gator. I was driving South on Flagler saturday night and saw a Red 8 next to me and honked as I passed. They caught up to me at the light on the okeechobee rail road tracks. I think I drove through city place after that. I frequent the Angelo's and Maxies there also.

Yup. It counts. I'm out in loxahatchee myself, so I'm not too far from you. There's a TON of RX8's out here. At least 5 that I've counted already. Hell, my next door neighbor has one!!!

I am single so I was solo that night. The red 8 that I spoke to briefly at the light had a woman with him but again that car was red. hmmm not sure who that could have been. But if you see a Ti in the area it could be me.

Rotary virgin here. Quite the experience. Finding this forum has helped so much. I've posted some threads on the Tech board and General Automotive board. This is the first car I've ever gotten that I actually need to get an education about. See you guys on the road.

I used to own a '94 rx7, so that's why I asked. I traded it in at the palm beach auto mall for the 8. I miss my boost. lol.

That would be cool...but hard for me with two kids!! I live in W. Lake Worth, about 20-25 min. from downtown. I would love to see all of us in a group though. No one down here has seen a sight like that!

I'm up in the Gardens and could easily hop on the Turnpike to West Lake Worth....better cruising roads out there anyway. So limited in the city with all the lights and no stretches of road to enjoy the drive on. Gee - I wonder if Moroso would let us have some fun out there on their track....what do you think? Sounds good to me to try and get something to happen but would need some upfront planning time - so much life going on it's hard to know when I'm free. GO GATORSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs

Since I'm out in the middle of nowhere you guys can decide GO 'NOLES where and when you would all like to meet. I've got the Borla GATORS SUCK!!!! cat-back and the K&N intake. My rotary performance midpipe is in the mail, and I'll be ordering a greddy e-manage soon to retune the beast. If anyone wants to see/hear the exhaust and intake I'd be glad to meet somewhere. And all of my boyz from the other side of the rotary family *3rd gen rx7's* would be glad to join us as well.

LOL. I would've but that van that was behind you (I was behind the van) was too tall, and the aluminum racks that were bolted to its roof were knocked off and almost hit my car. It took the moron about 5 minutes to collect himself enough to pick the crap up and get out of everyone's way.

After work on Friday I got home and didn't get out again until Sunday afternoon. It was the strangest thing - I felt a need to get in my RX8 and take a ride. I actually missed driving it for 2 days - so I went down to Lake Worth on an errand and then headed to the PBG car wash by Promanade Plaza on A1A to hand wash my car....geez - think I need a life or what? I was frustrated tho - doing 50 felt like I was doing 30 and anything faster (was I really doing 95 on the Tpke?) was inviting a speeding ticket. Loved seeing it so clean and bright. I'm going to try and make it to Wellington on Leap Day - it should be fun.

Yesterday, I saw a Black 8 on the turnpike heading North from Glades road. I tried to catch up to him, and did. He them proceeded to try and outrun me. I just wanted to check his 8 out, but he wanted no part of that. Obviously, not a club member. He ducked back into traffic too soon, and I flew past him.

I thought people would think it was cool to see two 8's next to each other on the hwy. Guess he did not.

maybe he stole it and wanted no attention!

I will be in Palm Beach March 25-28th. Any thing going on then? Shows? Get-togethers? I would love to see some fellow 8's. Plus I will going through w/draw w/o a car for the weekend. :)

I was driving around today and he came up behind me and honked - we waved and headed different ways. I thought I had seen him on this board but when I looked at the membership listing he's not listed. Anyone know of him?

I saw that car way out where I live today. There's a guy with a yellow 8 that I've met briefly at a gas station who's name is moon. Can't be a coincidence.

To all that missed the first meet...Lets do it again. Pics will be up soon from English. A few 8's drove past, but did not know where to stop we guessed. Next time will be better, and maybe Paradigm will have his 8!

I finally bought the $200 strakes. At the next meet, I will be sporting them along with my front splash guards. I will post pics along with my installation experiences.

Good purchase! Even though they cost a bunch, I think it is a nice look.

Wow, not the best of experiences installing the strakes. The instruction regarding which hole to use for the lower one were WRONG! Thank God it came with that template. When I tried to remove the screw, it galled up and almost fu__ed up the strake. Being an engineer, I made it work, and the result is awesome.

The front splash guards were a piece of cake, especially with the help of the forum on how to cut the rock guard.

I should have checked the forum on installation problems with the strakes, but it seemed so straight forward.

Time to show it off!!

New 8 here in Boynton Beach (~1k mi). GT black 6MT. Not much modding yet. Did a XM install and added rotary accent. Bought the exhaust finishers but have not installed yet (haven't had the time to take off the rear bumper). Maybe this weekend. Sorry I missed the get together at Wellington Green. Just curious... how many in S. FL got the factory NAV? I did not but would like to add NAV now. Any suggestions? I read alot on the boards about it. I would like to add an LCD screen with carputer but don't see to much progress from anyone doing it. I'll just hold out unless any of you have good ideas.
