I have a choice between a Mark IV Supra ( 93 - 98 ) or a rx 7 or 8. Which should i choose based on speed, looks, and just plain out character. I have a choice feb 5 when i take my driving test because of tha wreck i went through to test if i have recovered and ive been driving everyday fine heh so i know i can pass it but the thing is i luv the 8 but its slow compared to what a 7 or supra could be. I test drove the 8 and fell in love but the supra have always loved as well with the 7 but the 7 and supra kill the 8 in speed and thats what my nick name is is speedy lol

i have decided to leave to 7 tt out because its only a 2seater and i need more seats =( unexpected mishaps

I almost got a 98 Supra 6speed.....I just wanted a brand new car. If I'm making payments..it's got to be brand new.

thats true but i love both cars but the supra = hp and torque that are godly and a great skidpad and so much more ...main reason i picked the 8 over the supra at first was warrenty but looked at all the problems and thought seriousely about it and how much ive always loved supra's and looked at several 98 with low miles and few mods for mid 20's or older supras with good mods for low 20's and i was almost in heaven heh tho the 8 driving experiance almost stole me

rx8 or mark IV supra twin turbo 6 speed any color lol cause if i get supra its gonna get tint bpu's and a system and maybe body kit if i find a decent one if get rx8 exhaust intake tint and mazdaspeed is what im limited too ( leasing ) i trully am leaning towards the supra atm am really a speed freak but the 8 just took me over with all its pleasures

yes.

the supra is a really hot car, but I'd want a low miles 98 6 speed turbo and i don't think i could get one for what i paid for the 8.

if you get a jz supra you have to get the twin turbo, otherwise it'd be like getting a cheeseburger w/o the cheese. the twin turbo supra is AWESOME. it's ridiculously quick and fast. it looks hot even tho it's a boat. it's also very expensive 'cuz the supply is very low. i hear a turbo in good condition would actually cost more now than they were new, probably especially so if you live in alabama. so be prepared to pay.

still, i'd prefer the fd over the supra :D and i'd get the rx-8 b/t your choices :D

The answer is to buy both cars. It doesn't matter which one you buy first or whether you can afford both cars at the same time. They are the two most beautiful Japanese cars ever built (and RX7 comes in at no. 3) and you know it! You NEED to own both of them. So do I... but RX8 is first for me, just coz it's newer. I'm willing to wait a little longer for the Supra even though it's got better leg room...

the Supra makes it's power like the 8 though..it's a high revver..slow starter..but you have a higher redline in the 8 ..by the time you get the powerband in the Supra it's time to change gears...i'd go with the 8..then get a Supra later on and fix it up...
