I was wondering if anyone knows if Mazdatrix would be open to having a meet at their location (on a Saturday)? I figured if they wanted to sell some parts and/or do installs while we have a “meet” at their shop. Granted, I’m not familiar with their location so it may not be possible to have a meet, especially if we get 10+ cars showing.

Just a thought because when I had my 2000 Eclipse GT we would meet sometimes at a shop in Santa Fe Springs (Road Race Engineering). Central meeting place and RRE made some money in the process.

I doubt it would be a problem to meetup.. It's like all of us meeting at 7-11 or something. Where is this place anyways?

Web-site says they are only open Mon-Fri. I was hoping someone on the board "knew" someone there to ask if something could be set up on a Sat.

The So-Cal RX Club can arrange this... if you guys really want to do something like this, let me know and we'll do it...

This will all depend on Dave, but we have to make it worth his while to open Mazdatrix on a Saturday. If only 4 RX-8 guys show, then it won't really be worth it. We need a commitment from a good few people. You have to remember too that its race season right now, and Dave is out a lot of weekends.

I'm all down for meeting up and buying some mods along with installing them while we're there.

Also, I threw that time frame (Feb/March) just as a suggestion. If it's easier to meet in April or whenever that's cool as well. Just toss the idea around to Mazdatrix and see what they say. If it won't work, no big deal. :cool:

I have gotten a quote for RB Sways and Springs from Dave. Just checking spring rates and seeing what RB will be putting out before I commit.

If they could do installs on a Saturday that would be awesome for me, one less vaca day I need to use.
