Spotted a new Winning Blue 8 in Hillsborough, NJ tonight on the way home from work - looks like it had Flemington Mazda tags?

Are you here??? Nice to see another 8 in my neighborhood.

Hillsborough.. thats not too far from Edison. I think i went mountain biking down there. Isn't that where the canal system is and Six Mile Run?..

Yep, the Delaware & Raritan Canal runs from New Brunswick, though Bound Brook, Manville, Hillsborough, and then further south through Belle Meade, Princeton, etc. I have ridden my m/b over the entire length from New Bruns to Lawrenceville.

awesome, i wanted to do a canal ride but i have yet to organize it... return transportation and all that.

one thing that im curious tho weary is a rack that might work on the 8.. a roof rack might be possible, but what happens with the sunroof?.. can you turn off the sunroof, maybe pull a fuse or something so you don't break crap up there?

hmm.. curious.

The "ride" I was assuming was a mountain-bike ride down the tow-path, not a boat ride down the canal. With the latter, you have to be prepared to carry your boat around the locks. Either way, return transportation isn't an issue, 'cause you just ride/row back. There's no current to fight (in the water), and no grade to fight (on the path) except for the occasional grade shift at the locks, and a couple of spillways...

I live close to you guys in Iselin. If you see a Sunlight Silver on Oak Tree Road say hello. Have you been able to take your cars out lately it really sucks.

I had mine out yesterday and today. Washed it today :-) but hit puddles on the way home :-( I hadn't had it out since last weekend, and I was having serious withdrawls!

Never I repeat never take your car to a Car Wash. Your black car will show swirls fast enough without running through brushes loaded with dirt. There is a hand wash place in Rahway but half the fun of owning a nice looking car is polishing it yourself imho.

yah, thats why i am worried about car washes... was wondering about a good hand wash place. with this weather me going out to the car with a bucket is pretty slim. today might be ok tho.. but my motivation is low :).. plus i gotta get some goods to pamper the car first....

Looks good bay. About the wash, hold your breath and wait. Untill warmer weather arrives I wont touch my exterior due to ice and the possibility of rocks etc perhaps scratching or creating noticiable swirls.
