Why would it be there still light coming out of it from the picture plus you still have both of your regular brake lights working. Now if one of your main brake lights were out it would be a different story.

A lot of members have a 3rd brake light mask or whatever I'm sure they can chime in. Me personaly I don't. Lol no problem.

Technically, blocking any part of any light on the car is illegal in most states. One of those things that you probably won't get pulled over for though. I'm not fond of being rear ended, so I personally went with the LED 3rd brake light (which is way brighter than stock) and a rotary shaped 4rth brake light.
