I am trying to decide if I should get Clearguard for the bumper as I just have for the hood. Clearguard has great customer service I might add... and I just did :)

I started with an invisible bra on the hood & lights, then decided to get the bumpers done as well a few weeks later.

I would highly recommend the protection.

i HAD .15 MIL DONE ON MY REAR BUMPER and it saved the paint in a scrape with another car- it was fine once we pulled up the section of 3M. .9 mil is the standard they usually do on the front.

Me too. And I managed to chip the paint on the UNDERSIDE of my spoiler. How, I have no idea, but it's there.

In a year or so, I'm sure my hood and bumper will be thrashed.. just in time for Mazdaspeed kit and carbon fiber hood.

Labor depends on the installer... I paid $85 labor for all 3 kits.

Went with a clear-bra within the first week of ownership. Roughly 2 months and 3,000 miles later, no chips or nicks anywhere. Clear-bra would seem to have been a good investment. $445 for hood, fenders, bumper and mirrors. Probably could have gotten it done for $300 if I'd shopped more but then again "you get what you pay for."
