I am trying to decide if I should get Clearguard for the bumper as I just have for the hood. Clearguard has great customer service I might add... and I just did :)

I would highly recommend the protection. mikeb 01-29-2004, 04:46 PM my hood has more than my bumper RX-Nut 01-29-2004, 04:48 PM my bumper has all kine of little nicks and crap. arrgh.. not too bad only you if you go up close and smash your face against the bumper to see it.. what could help this? clear bra? flatso 01-29-2004, 05:17 PM Originally posted by rxeightr I started with an invisible bra on the hood & lights, then decided to get the bumpers done as well a few weeks later. I have a kit on both :) I had more problems w/ my bumper b4 I had the 3 kits put on though... Elara 01-29-2004, 06:50 PM Originally posted by mikeb my hood has more than my bumper Me too. And I managed to chip the paint on the UNDERSIDE of my spoiler. How, I have no idea, but it's there. SCiMMiA 01-29-2004, 08:01 PM More on the hood. Gonna get the touchup paint on it soon. Outlaws eXtreme 01-29-2004, 08:04 PM In a year or so, I'm sure my hood and bumper will be thrashed.. just in time for Mazdaspeed kit and carbon fiber hood. rxeightr 01-29-2004, 08:44 PM what was the labor for installation of the bumper? I believe $180.00 installed spdspappy 01-30-2004, 05:42 AM Labor depends on the installer... I paid $85 labor for all 3 kits. FirstSpin 01-30-2004, 06:46 AM Went with a clear-bra within the first week of ownership. Roughly 2 months and 3,000 miles later, no chips or nicks anywhere. Clear-bra would seem to have been a good investment. $445 for hood, fenders, bumper and mirrors. Probably could have gotten it done for $300 if I'd shopped more but then again "you get what you pay for." |
