Question Interior/exterior colours

I have just called my local dealer to put an order in for an RX-8. I am planning to go for black or silver but he couldn't tell me much about the interior colour options (in fact he said 'they will be dark' - great).

I'm intending to go for cloth as I have never been a big fan of leather.

I thought the two-tone red/yellow or red/black shown on the website looked awful. Has anyone else been able to get hold of any more details? For example, is the cloth interior two-tone? If so, what colours would be used with a black or silver exterior?

Cheers
Simon.

p.s. And why does the satnav only come with leather?!?!

Smile Interior/Exterior Colours

My dealer handed me some details.
Colours are: (at least for first 3 months)

Black Gloss
Titanium (Metallic Grey)
Silver (Metallic)
Red (Mica Metallic)

All apart from red can be seen on Mazda cars on your dealers forecourt (or at least on mine)

Interior colours as per the US spec are limited also and are:

Black cloth
Black Leather
Black and Red Leather
Black and Tan Leather

Hope this helps.

I'm waiting to see a colour patch for the Red, If it's dark, it's my choice with the Red/Black Leather. If not, it's Silver with the same two tone interior.

Live a bit, you want to be seen in this stunning car!!

Oilman,

Thanks for the info. Looks like a trip to my local dealer is on the cards but I think it will be titanium/black cloth for me. Black/black is going to look like Knight Rider.

And so much for my dealer's belief that the black option was in a mica paint.

And sorry but two-tone red/black steering wheels are just not for me

Colours

Each to their own!

Check out the pics on main forum posted today of Laguna Seca which show all colours.

Titanium looks too dark, have to say the Mazda 6 I saw on Saturday (in Cornish sunlight) still looked dark. Silver shows lines better and more attractive.

The pics are steering me towards Red, it looks stunning and with the Mica fleck will be different to a normal Red.

Still, it's your money, your choice.

Red for me too but only if it is the 'blood' red I have seen (describes as blood red by Mazda UK). I don't want it too bright especially as the interior inserts will look naff then.

Tit grey - The Mazda 6 tit grey is very dark, is that our colour too?
