Dear all,

I am gonna buy a new Rx-8 soon, and I want to install a MD player (Mazda provided) in my Rx-8. I just wonder if you guys know if that MD player can support a format called MDLP? I know you guys may not know about MDLP, but some Audio experts should know what I am saying.. so plz give me some helps... : )

When I ask the dealer by emails, they gave me this kind of answers....dxxx!

Man! I sell cars for a living. LOL! Can you call and ask a stereo shop. They will be able to tell you what the RX-8 can do. MD player that is.

Hope you guys can give me some opinions..

Just curious, why MiniDisk rather than MP3? I own a home minidisk deck but am undecided on which to put in my RX.

I have a NetMD player at home, which can help me to transfer MP3 songs to minidisc.. By using the MDLP, each minidisc can record up to 5 hrs and 20 mins of music... that's why I prefer MD player...

I think that I saw somewhere that it does support MDLP. I can't remember where, but I'll post it if I remember.

Well you can have both MP3 and MDLP at the same time and is it being fun or what. I found only MP3 is enough. 120 songs per disc!
