COBB AcessTUNER Race for 2004 JDM RX8 ???

Hi guys,

I have fill out the access TUNER application form form COBB and they send me the link to download their Access TUNER Software. So i did but the software comes with the 2004 USDM .dat file and map for tuning. The mapsyou prepare cant communicate with the JDM RX8 ecu.

1)Does anyone have or know where i can get the JDM .dat file in order to be able to prepare JDM ECU compatible maps??

2)I have saved my JDM stock mazda ecu calibration on my COBB after i installed it on the car but i cant seem to find a way to transfer it on my PC since on the COBB manager i can only see the loaded .ptm maps and not the factory ecu data ...

Any help would be much appreciated ...

You should be able to use your base ap jdm map. Have you tried opening in race from your ap manager maps directory? You nay need to first export the map from the ap in ap manager.

Unless reace is missing the base jdm config data?

You have a map installed on you access port for your car already?

If so export it your PC map library/directory and then open that mapfile in race... Hopefully it isn't locked.

If you don't already have a map for your specific year/spec then I don't know what to tell you. I'd have thought Cobb would have provided you the defaultbase jdm map when you downloaded race... If they even offer one.

I did export my maps on my library but they are taggeg as JDM and Access Tuner has the heading USDM and when i try to open them in my tuner i get the message :
''Unable to load map file.
Invalid 'Base'Map file. Please verify vehicle and vendor of map file.(5:150) ''

I read in COBB forums that only vendors have the appropriate ATR for all markets.Simple users only have the USDM Access Tuner.I just wanted to see if someone had experienced the same issue or if i can find somewhere the full version of ATR software..
