Joined, but what region is Fort Bragg under? Sh!t hole NC? Definitely have been picking up on a few of us from here if you wouldnt mind posting something. Maybe its considered under one of those categories but unless it blatently says where to go, us military guys cant figure it out. LOL
Just my 2 cents
Thanks

Hey all,
Headed back to the southeast at last! I'll be in the Pope AFB/Fort Bragg/Fayetteville area for at least a year or few, starting around late Novemberish.
How are the winters up there? I'm likely to pick up some winter tires if the snow gets lousy - or perhaps an auxiliary car to battle the elements if it turns out you guys get way more snow than we do in Atlanta. I'm looking at stuff like the BHR ignition kit for those cold starts and perhaps some new wheels depending on the cost of mounting these hypothetical winter tires.
Basically, I just want to be prepared for this winter up there, hopefully without spending a buttload of money.
Thanks!

Bragg is not too bad. survived just fine the entire winter with my all-season tires on. remote start worked fine all winter as well with no issues. car was only in carport with no side cover.
Will have a beater this year though, put too many miles on in the last year and a half.
