anyone been watching the new season on AMC?

My wife is pretty big into it. I watch it sometimes but don't actively follow it.

I am a huge fan and have seen every episode.

I think it's the best series on TV, period.

However, I am paranoid that they're somehow going to ruin this series as the very last episode was among the worst I've seen so far, and the style and characters are becoming far more dramatic than they've been in the past.

This show is great partly because it isn't an over-stylized, way too brightly lit, TNT style drama show - let's hope the producer and director and writers don't change that.
