When was the last time you saw a farmer with anything bigger than 17s on a truck taken to the field? If I want my vehicle to perform like a truck, I'd keep the wheels small and get bigger tires. As for the people who don't need utility, but have them anyways (Andre3000 & Shaq - both had cars at NAIAS with 28s for example), there should be an extra "idiocy" tax levied on those people. Aside from their poor fuel economy, that is. But on a car - they perform, look good, and if you can stand the price and ride, go for it.
