Now to the real smoke:

I was driving my wife to school today, and saw a silver S2K coming on the opposite traffic lane. As usual, and because I love it so much, I peeked on my side rear view mirror......to see what I've never seen. There was this massive cloud of smoke coming out of it. I don't know if it was exhaust or engine, but it was bad. Makes me wonder what the heck was it?

I can't think of any modification that will make your car smoke like a petrol refinery. My best wishes to who ever was driving it, and hope he didn't run low on oil.

Could it be that the S2K just happen to kick some dust from the road?

Anyway, I love the S2K too. I like everything of the new S2K except the nose. Otherwise a very fine machine!

Hopefuly, but I don't think there was anything on that road: went that way 1/2hr later. Just plain ol' asphalt.

i like the 2000 too just as much as the rx-8,too bad they have no hardtop version, i do like the s2000 tail lights more than the tail lights of the rx-8

they do have a hard top S2k but i like the 8 much better and i bet i can make my 8 outperform any S2k ( in time ...much of it lol ) i like my taillights thx very much tho i do like the S2k over the 8 on one thing can drop its top =(

Easy - you just pump some desil into the exauhst = instant smoke screen.

Now why an s2k owner would be doing that is another question..

Yup, like what speedy said, they do have a hardtop. Like the miata, the top comes as and optional accessories. It's a bolt on top.

Maybe he press the button more than 7 times. lol
