Is it just me but has the ratio of members to guests completely changed since the official introduction @ L.A. and Detroit?

maybe thats why things are loading at snails pace tonight. Maybe only let people browse as guests a certain number of times before they have to register? Not that that is going to slow anyone down, but there is no reason to be shy.

Actually, I have been looking at that ratio since last fall, and it's about the same. The numbers are just bigger :).

If people are just looking and what-not, why register? Several "newbies" of the last couple of weeks have simply been those who just lurked previously, and are just now registering to participate with some opinions. It really doesn't matter to the speed of the board, the load, or anything.

I think some people arent registering because they may not buy an rx 8, or not sure if they want to.

For me, I definetly want one, but due to finacial contrainsts, ill have to wait till summer of '05:(

Someone on the 350Z board where I usually hang out posted a message that y'all can actually track your order. Call me jealous! :) I ordered my Z on 1/14/02 and had to wait until 9/30 for delivery. I had the web page for the gate cam at Newport News Port, an inside contact at the port and a few other locations..just to see what I could find out about my car. :p

I became a member here because I luv cars and the RX-8 is one of the schaweeeetest rides I have seen. Hope y'all enjoy it and hope there are a few that show up in Northern Va. so I can see it in person.

which trim Z do you have? Touring? Track? one of my co-irkers has a black track model, those Brembo brakes are SICK :D

I have a Brickyard Touring w/ all the extras...sadly, Brembros were not available on this trim level. As soon as the Nissan dealers get the OK to distribute/install NISMO parts, gonna have to "spruce" it up a bit. I do have a Veilside air diffuser on order.

I've seen some of the body kits available for the RX-8 and it is just a sweet.

Well, I look forward to seeing them around.
