The RENESIS engine will have the same high compression rotor's as the 787B 1991 Le Mans winner being 10:1!

It is going to be one hell of an engine!

Why don't you change the exhaust on your car. I would imaging that the RX-8 sounds pretty quiet in standard trim.

Two things guys:
first, you all surely need to read the thread "How does the RENESIS make more power?" (PLEEEEASE ASK QUESTIONS AND ADD TO IT!!! IT"S MY FAVOURITE THREAD!!! :( don't let it die...)


and second, the 8 is suppost to have a sporty sound... dunno what that sounds like, but at WOT at 8k rpm, it won't be too quiet.

mmmm.....sounds good enough for me. I hope kids don't go and outfit the '8 with a folgers or sanka exhaust system.....
