Issue with tanabe GF springs?

so its taken me a while to finally ask this (been lazy) im running a set of tanabe GF springs with KYB gas-adjust struts, i REALLY like the feel of this combo, the only problem i have is that i SWEAR, the rear is .5/.75" lower than the front. according to tanabe, the drop f/r is 1.4/1.2 is anyone else running these springs, and if so, do you have the same issue?

Every picture I have seen of those springs on an 8 is exactly what you describe. The stock springs are also higher in the front, just not as noticeable since the gap is huge.

The problem isn't the springs so much as how the 8 sits stock and the fact that you are lowering it nearly the same front to rear.

If you want to get rid of the problem Tein S-Techs, H-Techs or Progress springs drop the front enough to even the gap front to rear and are all quality springs.

Also, just in case you didn't, make sure you tighten the upper control arm bolts in the front (17mm, 2 per side) with the car on the ground. Tightening them while the car is in the air will put tension on the rubber bushings and not allow the car to fully drop.

juice, yeah, i know about the control arm thing, its a preload type bushing, if you tighten it in the air, you'll also tear the bushings up prematurely. i read about the teins, and didnt like the spring rates that much, thats why i went with the GF's, so far im extremely happy with them, just that goddamn sag drives me nuts.... oh well.... new excuse for coilovers
