Talking NH Mini Tech Day pics

Hey everyone:

A few of us from the forum gathered today at my house (in NH) to do our K&N Typhoon install. Speed Racer, RPIRX-8, and myself installed our intakes in the warmth of a 70 degree garage. Install was fairly straightforward... thanks Speed Racer

The sound...loud. The pull...great. Both together when blipping the throttle is music!! Here are a few pics of the install. We'll be posting up a *.mov soon as we recorded the sound outside the car and inside the car going down the road.

Thanks guys... Now I can't wait to get my B&B exhaust to go along with this intake.

It was a great day today. The intake sounds killer, especially at full throttle. You can definitely feel the car pull harder at 5500 and above. The install is about an hour i'd say, maybe a little less. Definitely worth the money, no doubt.

my10ae,
Thanks for posting some of the photos and for providing a nice warm work area. It sure beat freezing our butts off in -12F weather. After we got rid of "Mr. Salty" I took a couple of photos of my intake and I'll send those to you shortly.

RPIRX8,
I just finished editing the sound clips into a cool montage. When you get a chance you should check your inbox. :D

Ok all, here is the clip. Please make sure you have QuickTime installed.

Enjoy, and yes, thanks to my10ae for providing the heated install space :D

Nice job guys! Glad to see that you got them and installed them with out a snag. Man, I forgot what salt does to a car. So glad I moved here to AZ and left the cold ickiness back in OH. LOL. And yes, with the B&B exhaust you will be amazed! the car runs and sounds more like it's supposed to. Good job! Nice work! Now go and wash them cars before I start to cry.

There is not much you can do about the salt, short of simply parking the car until late Spring and driving the car only 5-6 months out of the year. No thanks, I'd rather enjoy driving the car I'm paying for.
