I have been calling 3 local dealers (Tustin, Irvine, Laguna Hills) to get some touch-up paint for my Velocity Red and nobody has it.

I have placed orders with all of them but it has been two weeks and nothing.

What the hell is going on with such a simple part?

Any advice?

I have held off buying any in hopes of getting the free bottle from Mazda that some have received. Does anyone know if they are still doing this? Anybody got one from a recent purchase?

I think they have been sending them to some owner as a gift(I never got any) so there is none in inventory.

I got hit by a flying rock a few week ago and need the paint to touch up the scars.

I just got my touch-up paint in the mail yesterday! so I guess that means that they are still giving it away!

Post lifted from another thread ... in case the free offer doesn't come quick enough. By the way, I got a paint pen an spray can of mine, but unfortunatly, I haven't used it yet to give an opinion of color match. Hope it helps.

yikes... I wouldn't use a spray can..

as nothing beats the fine and precise control of a brush!
