I'm trying to buy an Rx8 but the seller who believes that there is requirements for selling a car other than title transfer and releae of liability. Shes afraid that once I take the vehicle that she will still be responsible for it until she releases registration, insurance exc from her name including shipping the license plate somewhere. I did not get all of it.

Can someone confirm what requirements need to be met before buying and selling a vehicle in Virginia?

Wow that can't be right. If seller rips off the license plates how does the buyer even drive it to the DMV and how long does it take to get the licesnse plates? That totally sucks because I need to leave to Cali tomorrow.

I'll poke around the site otherwise I will just call the DMV tomorrow.

Ok just talked to a guy at starbucks lol he told me I can get temp license plates same day just to travel.
