I've seen this same poll at least twice since I joined this board, probably more. It isn't in the "Polls" area because the admin didn't go back more than a couple of weeks to pull existing polls in here.

Would you happen to know what the ratio on those polls was? Curious....

thanks for the update, jtimbck2. I thought it was really strange that there wasn't a poll like this....but now I know. Since the RX-8 community is always growing - we can use a poll like this to keep track of the ratio. Besides, the old one is for sure no longer accurate.

There were somewhere around 8 (haha) women who frequented the boards last time this poll was done- however, several of them aren't posting much, if at all, anymore.

Elara, thanks for the info. I can't believe there aren't at least a few more female owners on here by now. I did my "homework" on here by reading different threads so I would be aware of possible situations when my car got here. Of course, I decided that I would definitely be getting an 8 when I saw the yellow one on the cover of R&T in February '02.... probably not many "chicks" reading that particular magazine.

Although, it could be that other female owners out there just don't know about this board either.... ????
