I know the auto trans is not a dragster,but does anyone have times to share . What is a good 0 to 60 time for the auto?:confused:

6.6 is about the fastest and normal time you are going to get. Its pretty easy to consistently get that time though because...well...all you do is stomp on the gas...

I seriously doubt you can do 0-60 in 6.6 seconds with the auto.

nzarnow ...uh... where did you come up with 6.6 seconds? If our automatics had that type of performance we would be happy as shit.

The mechanic who put the Greddy turbo kit on his automatic is having trouble getting to 60 in 6.4 seconds - and that's WITH brake stalling. But that's the only way you're going to get the automatic in the the 6.5 second range (that or maybe porting or nos).

gettingan8 to answer your original question though, I don't know of anyone who has professionally dynoed their automatic but crude times I've recorded with a stop watch are in the range of 8.1 - 8.8 seconds (the lower times were always based on redlining in tiptronic mode whereas the higher ones were in regular automatic mode). Yeah - pretty disappointing, I know..but if you want the current automatic that's what you're looking at 0-60 wise.
