Hey guys newbee's back.

Well to make a long story short, I currently have a lot of free time. Good for me not so good for my car. I tend to venture into new things and try to experiment on my car. This is one of those experiments. JeJeJe.

I bought a 350z Carbon Fiber Air Inlet and after installing it I saw how the differences between the 350's bumper and the 8's positioned the inlet to point incoming air downwards and not into the stock air box. Reason why I bought the Inlet in the first place (I'm looking for the ram air effect). I'd thought I'd remedy this by reinstalling the V-Fad. I choped the long hose hopefully unnecessary.

I have random pics of the process, sorry no after fotos it got dark. I'll take some tomorrow.

Let me know what you guys think.

Yes I did see. Sole inspiration to my purchase. Only that after installing I saw how the inlet pointed downwards and not into the airbox. Sorry but title is misleading I really wanted to show of how I used the V-Fad to remedy this and have a ram air inlet tube (using the V-fad)

Nope none at all. Actually had one of those big lifted trucks splash a crap load of water from a puddle directly on the intake with no problems.
