I didn't use the whole kit, there were pieces that I felt were not needed or just over did it. So I kept it to a point where it looked like it belonged there.

She had to do some minor filing to ensure the buttons were not obstructed, overall, awesome job, I'm diggin it!!!!

That lady has her own business, I think she gets her stuff from a place called Westfield? but I can't remember and I cant find it on the net, i may have to call her again to find out. it was like 300-something, a tad pricey, but I was unsure of the quality of stuff floating around out there.

At first she didn't want to tell me what company she got her stuff from for fear that ppl would get it themselves. When she did tell me, she said the company would have charged me more anyway.

Come to find out, she charged me less than what she does it for at dealerships.

Now, to find someone who's can do that kind of quality work here in MI.... Very awesome.

It looks like the kit from the dashkitstore.com that I posted a few days ago. The same pieces were avaiable there but the 20 piece kit was $195. Check it out for yourself.

This company seem to be the actual source for these kits:

Well Palm Harbor is about 15 minutes west of Tampa.....so maybe 2.5 hours.

The lady said she goes all over, not sure if she goes east coast, but you coulld prolly meet her halfway....

Canzoomer - I would like the black carbon fiber kit but I'm not sure what the numbers above in your post represent. How much for the blk cf kit? Thanks for your help.

PS - Any ideas if there is cf trim for around the door handles - I can't believe that it isn't a part of that kit. :(

Just to for warn you

That company sells very bad quality kits They have tons of dashkit websites

They buy all there templates from

http://www.templatemonster.com

posting cheaper kits under diffrent company names

They also have a bunch on other sites selling furniture and sheets for the bed kinda weird if ask me

Taiwan based company !!!

there aluminum also has a thick clear coat on top and it is synthetic

They also do not carry i lifetime warranty

the is what you call in the dash world a

(ebay) dash company

also the tape they use on the back is the older style 3M that will harm your dash when you take it off

Guys we know IPTs is more exspensive but you get wat you pay for

That is why tons of people / forums buy from us we have a good rep

is300.net
clublexus
newcelica.org
celica.net
evolution.net
newtiburon.com

and many more .... I can tell you if you go with this you will be unhappy in time

nice we have a dealer on site now... convenient... i do have one question though... does it clash in anyway with the red light up of the dash? its the one dislike i haev about the dash, the red light up on all the buttons. if i ever put interior lights in, i know they would be blue, and they, i bleieve would not match, so i was wondering how it looks at night with lights on...picture maybe?

That is because as of this morning we are a dealer for Dashtek.

So I have not yet had a chance to add tehm to our price list, put it on the site, etc.

This is the first announcement of these that I have made so far.

Further down I see a comment about them being made by some Taiwanese company. This is incorrect.
This is the manufacturer:
Woodview Automotive Trim
5670 Timberlea Blvd.
Mississauga, ON L4W 4M6

Sales: 1-800-797-3274 ext. 226
Fax: 1-866-526-3274

They manufacture the die cut and moulded kits in their plant in Mississauga. Their biggest business is wood grain kits, but lately carbon fibre and aluminum has become a big item.
I have some of these on the way to me now, and will post detailed pictures and info on a installation probably over the weekend.

In speaking with Joia, she said that the red CF doesn't go well with the red/black interior that it makes it look too busy....which afeter seeing a couple of 8's on a lot with CF, i could understand. But you could always go with another color or setup.

hmm, thats what id wonder.. still curious to see it in a picture tho. i think either black CF or normal CF might look really good in there tho.

gotta see pictures tho, can't find any on the site tho... anyone have luck in finding them?

Heya IPT, what does 'quality' mean to you? I wodnered about maybe one day buying such a kit for fun .. but it's not before quite a while. Does 'wuality' mean they can be taken off anytime without any damage to the stock setup below (i.e. glue never damaging the surfaces below or become sticky to an extent, where it's not possible to remove cleanly). And how about the outside pieces, how many carwashings do they sruvive? Also, your site only lists two for the rx-8 (carbon & aluminium)> Are there others? Some pics would also be nice ... your carbon one shows a 350z ... not very useful :)
