Welding could be a bit better and mandrel bent over crush bent any day. Other than that looks good.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing in a pure 3" variety. Local guy is gona do a 3" Y off the back pipe into two 3" outlets.

+1. Props for wanting custom, but I'd be concerned of that welding work in the Y split. I'm no expert by any means, but it just looks like mush between the pipes.

Just to go a little furhter on what Alt was saying, there are companies that sell y-pipes for around 20-30 dollars that coming in everything from aluminized to stainless steel.

I know personally I got mine from Magnaflow and its a 3" in and dual 3" out piece and its a really nice piece.

lol.. you went straight pipe on the 8? could've saved youself some money and put "i have a 9 year old tied up in my trunk" painted on the side of your car... would get pulled over just as many times.

i kid, i kid. I'm sure the unmuffled sounds was pretty nasty, might think about putting a resonator in there.

very true .. I did however go back and fix the sound.. And its not a straight pipe its a Agency Power Dual res mid pipe with a custom Y pipe split. Now it has twin glass packs for sound deadining.. sounds perfect now.. But I will change out the Y as soon as I can for a real split y so its not so ugly.. but its homemade..

I've burned out all of the fiberglass in my Greddy SP2...and my idle is almost the same as yours...just a few decibels lower. Ever notice when you let 2nd gear slow you down...that it almost sounds ported?

Those glasspacks will burn out in a few months, they just can't take the heat of the rotary. Atleast you didn't spend a whole lot on the setup.

I heard a FC with Cherry Bombs and it sounded sick.
