Hey Guys,

I had the privilege of owning an rx-8 for about 4 months and it was a blast. I figured it was a sports car with 4 doors and been wanting to try out a rotary. There were several factors that lead me to sell the car. I just wanted to say that this forum had been a great source of information and I think this is one of the best, if not the best car forum I've had the opportunity of being a member of.

Anyway, I decided to get an ACURA TSX 6sp Silver/Ebony Navi. I believe that it suits my needs a bit better. Perhaps in a couple of years I can revisit a 2006 rx-8.

I'll still be around the forum, keeping up what's happening with rx-8. Hope that's ok. It was sad to see my rx-8 be driven away by the car appraiser.

Well, for one I needed a larger trunk. There are times when I need to valet the car overnight and I would have to worry about the car getting flooded cause the valet people shuffle the cars around.

Heh, and it's probably just me and might be minor but I always burn my hand when reaching for the dipstick to check the oil.

Why did you choose the TSX?Why not a TL?The TL is more sportier.

I lost a lot, the most I was able to trade the car for was 24g (only had 2140 miles) and when i bought my rx-8 just a few months ago I didn't get much of a break cause it was in demand at that time (it was almost 31g w/ GT package before tax and license/doc prep).

I didn't get the TL cause it cost more and since I already took a big hit in trading in my rx-8, I couln't afford it. TL is also hard to come by with the Navi. I wanted 6sp and I thought also that the TL is a bit big to have for a manual (but that's just me).

I miss my rx-8, and it was tough letting it go.
