I am a deejay there and if there is a decent showing, I can work with them for some specials and such.

I am going to hold on till the weather gets a bit better (and more responses) for a couple of weeks before making an official meet... it will probably be somewhere near the intersection of 78 and 476 for ease of access for most people ... like a dunkin/starbucks/sheetz or something

For now I usually go to hang out at Sheetz 3201 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, PA ... there used to be a nice meet going on there but it died down after civics came to race :nono: ... but there is still a mix of nice cars that show up sometimes

i live between scranton and the poconos but my bhother is not far from easton. i usually take 33 to 78? but thats in the summer cause i dont drive my 8 in bad weather. ide love to get a meet goin when all this sno melts.

i live about 30 min away from the allentown area whens a meet going down

im like 45 minutes to an hour away, but between bear creek and dorney park, i'm always out there haha.. i dont mind that drive really so i would come out there for a good meet

I went yesterday around 8:40 cause I got caught up with some errands and stayed till about 9:25. There was a nice C5 corvette and a few people with beaters ... but I doubt they heard about it here. If you came earlier, I am sorry if I missed you.

We just purchased an 06 Rx8 at Scott Mazda on Lehigh St. New rotorheads here, so just trying to figure out what the heck kind of oil to run in the car, there is so much information out there it would be nice to see a few older cars with higher mileage and find out what oil is best. I was thinking about running with Castrol High Mileage which I used to run in my 88 Supercharged MR2 to keep the old seals from leaking. It's supposed to swell the seals to keep them tight and reduce oil consumption, just wondering if that would be good in a rotory engine.

Welcome :) ... there is a LOT of discussion on what oil to run, and I do not have enough time to go into it right now. I usually run 5w20 when I change it and add 10W30 before my next oil change. I do that to make up for the lost viscosity. If you do not have Turbo, do not waste your money with synthetic

Castrol GTX 5W30 and I've been considering switching to 10W30

I'm putting in a new motor and Greddy turbo. Will try and just keep the boost around 6 until I upgrade everything else to handle it. My last engine had bad seals which caused it to crush itself and the chunks went through the exhaust port to the turbo. Not good lol.

Dave said I should hopefully be back and running in the first week of April since they are moving to their new location. Once i'm good I'll be attending.

He should start the rollcage, seats, harness, and spoiler this week -- the engine/turbo build is waiting on the turbo. Hopefully all will be complete within 2-weeks.

Hey, I just thought of another good spot to meet.....lots of parking space....anyone want to take a ride to Lake Nockamixon in Bucks County? Take 611 South from Easton to N. Rt. 412, then left on 563 .....we could hang out at the Marina and watch the boats sail.
